Joseph Dallago is the Co-Founder and CEO of Rain, the first licensed cryptocurrency exchange in the Middle East and North Africa. Joseph began coding when he was 13, developing websites and working for a local defense contractor. He first heard about Bitcoin in 2013 and quickly understood just how transformative the technology would be for financial inclusion, the global economy, and financial freedom.

He brings over a decade of experience in technology and entrepreneurship having founded and exited two startups prior to Rain. A passionate serial entrepreneur with deep insights and knowledge of cryptocurrency, Joseph has followed the crypto revolution from the early days. In September of 2017, Rain began working closely with the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) and became the very first licensed crypto company in the Middle East, establishing the needed trust to unlock crypto in the region.

Since then, Rain has grown into one of the largest exchanges in the region and raised $110 MM from Coinbase, Kleiner Perkins, and Paradigm. Rain continues to work towards enabling more financial freedom across the region through the use of cryptocurrency.
